The staff were all excellent. There only one real issue. I had hurt my knee prior to this trip. The elevator was being fixed when we returned one afternoon and had to walk up 2 flights of stairs. This was quite painful. It was fixed quickly but it still was a bit sketchy with a jolting bounce when it stopped. It’s a small complaint and otherwise it was a great experience.

It was loud and had a lot of loud obnoxious people during my stay. There was no conditioner or lotion in my room upon arrival but they did fill it when I asked them to. And for a breakfast I thought was supposed to be included, it was very expensive. Other than that it was fine.

Horrible Hilton at Hershey
Check in at 3. We arrived 315, told our room wasn’t ready as a large party has a late checkout and house keeping is cleaning rooms. At 4 we inquired an update and they didn’t have one- let them know we needed to leave for an event at 5 and needed to shower get dressed etc. couldn’t give us an eta but offered the gym area for us to change clothes. At 415 I asked for our suite to be downgraded if it meant to be allowed in any clean room as we really needed to shower and get ready- when I was told the people in our room still hadn’t checked out yet to even clean it wasn’t until 420. I was told no other rooms were clean and available for us to use. Our plans weren’t movable so I stated I really need to wash up and change at least is there any private bathroom to use- I was then taken to the lobby public women’s room where I was told I could wash up in the sink and they could watch the door so no one comes in. We were meeting friends who also booked a room to go to the event. (Only reason I didn’t just go to another hotel) I called them to say they might as well not come to the hotel and go right to the event. They called me back to say that the front desk is coming to look for me their room is ready and we can use it. We were given the key to our friends empty and clean room 25 min before we needed to leave. When I asked why that room wasn’t offered to us the last hour and a half that we were waiting in lobby pleading to be helped. At 10 when we got to our room- moldy bathroom

We stayed here bet 7 April - 9 2024 April with my wife and toddler and another family who are our friends. We were about an hiur ealry for our 3 pm check in so we checked with fromt desk - he said the room was not available of which I can undestand. Came back around 3:20 pm and he said we couldn’t check in as it is “not available and besides check in starts at 3 pm?” This to me was not right. The website says 3 pm check in not start to check in. I appreciate it was busy but they should be more forthcoming and transparent in their website about check in times. It was so inconvenient us. Very disappointing to say the least. Very unhelpful too - when we were handed our key cards, the manager who was at the helpdesk just handed it and did not say a word where to go and did not give us any directions. Poor customer service. Some positive - we were allowed to leave some Of our luggage and we were givenbrealfast voucher for the 2 nights. (Thank you) However, I think there’s something to be learned from this poor customer experience.

Not for people with Pet Allergies!
I will not be staying at the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel. I was not aware that it was a let friendly hotel and my daughter is extremely allergic to Dogs and Cats. The room reeked of dog and I believe they never even changed the bed sheets. My daughter was having a bad allergic reaction with puffy eyes and itchy body and was mot able to sleep at all. If you have animal allergies DO NOT STAY HERE!

When I checked in the person at the front desk asked me my name and I told her. She confirmed it and never asked for my identification and apparently there is another guest with the same name. Only until she asked if I wanted to keep the payment on a credit card that I didn’t have did I asked if she had the correct person. After that we went to our room and noticed the toilet was running and didn’t think anything of it. The next day it continued running and overflowing. The housekeeper manager was the nicest person and helped us to get our room changed. The front desk didn’t even want to move us. The hotel is in need of a refurbishment desperately. I will not be going back there again.
