One of my worst stays ever. The AC was broken in several common areas. Breakfast was mediocre at best. My first room had multiple issues: the fridge was broken, the bathroom door didn’t close properly, and the bedsheets felt damp. The front desk staff was kind and moved me to a new room, but things got worse. Due to what seemed to be a system error, housekeeping never serviced the new room. When I brought it up, I was handed fresh towels and a new garbage bag to clean the room myself. Noise was another issue, the walls are paper-thin, and you can hear everything from the hallway and adjacent rooms. Lastly, one of the main reasons I chose this hotel was for the advertised EV charger. In reality there’s only one plug, it’s difficult to use(15 minutes to set up an account), and the electricity rates are unreasonably high. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was far below expectations.

This is the third year in a row that I have stayed here. I have never had a bad experience very clean and welcoming. I will be back next year. Very centrally located and convenient.

Nice hotel

The room was clean and comfortable. The service was great - very friendly staff! The only complaints would be the breakfast - not a lot of options, and no milk for cereal. And the water temperature in the shower was all over the place - cold and then very hot and back to cold again. I think they need more parking - it was a little sketchy sharing with Red Roof Inn, and there weren’t many spots left when we got there after Hersheypark closed.

Nice area outside.. Air not working in lobby or hallways, breakfast was lame with stale bread. Rooms had fresh towels daily but sink or tub not clean. Lotion or makeup face wipes only given 1 time in a 5 day stay. Bathroom floor needed to be clean. Bathroom door did not lock. Two bodywash and one conditioner in tub but no shampoo. Staff could be friendlier. Will not be going back.

We booked this hotel as they have an EV charger. Since there was only one charger it was difficult if others also needed to use it. The hotel staff were nice. Breakfast was subpar as items were consistently out. Rooms were spacious and quiet.

This was my first time staying at a best western. The property looked quite new and clean but right out of the gate I assumed there might be something off considering they had these massive portable air conditioners in the lobby. The minute u stepped into the elevator, my son was terrified. It sounds like the cable is going to snap anyone moment. The amount of scrapes and sounds its makes is not reassuring at all. The room itself upon entering was quite nice and clean. But that seemed to be somewhat of a coverup. First off, DIRECT TV, is the worst choice for a room. It took me a good 20 mins to even get the TV to work properly. The wrong inputs probably from a previous occupant. Next, was the shower. We had been out all day and I went to go use the shower, and again, almost impossible to use. The simple mechanism of turn the handle and than pull the pin on the faucet would not work, to a point where i thought it would detach. The temperature also felt like it was going to burn your skin off. And lastly the breakfast selection. It wasn't awful. There were a few decent options. The stay overall served its purpose for the night but I probably wouldn't be rebooking.

Excellent Hotel

One of the few great hotels in the area. Its my #1 pick whenever I have to be in the Hershey area. Ample parking, safe, clean. The rooms are updated and spacious. The staff is kind, although sometimes the desk is unmanned. Overall, I've never been disappointed with this hotel.

No Hot Water is Worse Than Closing the Hotel

As I arrived at 12:30a, they let me know the water heater had broken. They offered me to go find other accommodations but then midday the next day (and after a cold shower), they closed the hotel entirely and I had to come back and move my stuff. I was then scrambling to find another lodging (which you can see my tribulations in my hotels.com account))

The property is very clean and looks like it was recently completely gutted and updated. The area it is in is fine, but not as nice as being closer to Hershey. We did have an issue with carbon monoxide due to a hot water heater, but they took care of it as best as they could given the circumstances.

The rooms were so damp and musty the carpets were wet the entire stay. My allergies went through the roof. Way too overpriced for dark, dingy and outdated.
