The Westin Waltham-Boston
"Weekday prices are ridiculous but if you see a great weekend price then grab it. This hotel has a lovely view of the Cambridge Reservoir and is ideally located for any trips exploring the western suburbs or visiting friends both north and south of the city. Right on 128, you can get to almost anywhere in the Boston area within 35 minutes (on the weekend), and the facilities are higher end to suit (pun intended) the executives whose expense reports cover the Sunday through Thursday night rates. Didn't try the in-house restaurant but the little convenience store in the lobby has great yogurt cups and tea or coffee in the morning, and across the street there's a very nice Mexican restaurant. Didn't have time to try the pool or gym but they both looked attractive and well maintained."
