the staff was AMAZING, very humble and easy to get along with. this is a very convenient hotel especially if you need a place to stay just for the night. very close to everything in the city, pretty much walkable distance. i saw some reviews that stated their were homeless people sitting outside surrounding the entrances, completely false. i didn’t feel unsafe at any point of my stay. would definitely recommend:)

False advertising

Room was dirty and there was hair all over the bathroom sink and shower. Was also charged an extra $100 when hotels.com said I’d only pay $159. False advertisement and shady business if you ask me.

Not great.

Room was tired, cold and unwelcoming. Even when I turned off the air conditioning I was cold during the night under the flimsy duvet, pillows were hard and I didn’t enjoy staying here at all. What I will say is that the view from the room over the Capitol building was stunning and the free breakfast was the only one we had which offered hot food so that was great. The car parking however is shocking - not actually the hotels fault but still worthy to note if you are coming here with a car - the car park directly behind the hotel is a rip off….. to stay over night you have to pay $19 per day which runs from midnight to midnight so you have to pay for 2 days to stay one night - the most expensive parking we encountered in our whole trip! Thankfully we were only here for one night or I would have checked out and found somewhere else.

It was clean. Other than that, the bedding and towels were a joke! And Surprise... and extra $16.50 per day to park in a super sketchy, trash covered parking lot. Would rather have spent a little more on a nicer hotel with free parking.

Not very happy with the property. It’s in an ok location but they don’t let you check in early or late. They over charge for things such a water bottle. They don’t hold your luggage if you check out and need a hold. They don’t have parking included but the parking options are shady. The front desk and or staff park in the temporary parking for drop off so you don’t have anywhere to park to drop off. The bed cover is a plan thin comforter with no cover and hospital quality. The fridge was dirty and the bathroom floor had hair on it. Look elsewhere!

Hated the use of Styrofoam for breakfast service. Please switch to paper. Styrofoam is not recyclable. I ate my breakfast out of a paper cup, + I urge others to do the same

I'd stay here again due to location

Fitness center is tiny. Breakfast is TERRIBLE. Sugar cereals and DIY waffles. No fruit or hot water the first day, the second day there were some sad little oranges. Great location. Luggage rack thing awful, hurt myself trying to get it to my room. Parking garage under construction and the black guy with the accent DID NOT TELL ME even though I called and spoke to him before I arrived. The parking app wouldn't work for me, the parking lot charged me an extra day. The black guy with the accent at the front desk has an attitude and doesn't seem to care about customer service. The bearded black guy was fairly nice and the brown guy with the glasses was very nice. The park is across the street and it is beautiful.
