First we could not connect our laptop to the wifi. We called for help but the issue was not resolved. We just decided to do without it. The phone in the room was making a faint ringing sound so we just muted the volume. Our room was right across from the ice machine and it’s loud. Not sure why someone thought it was a good idea to place it right there. As soon as you step out the room it’s in your face. Not sure who gets ice so early in the morning but it woke me up several times. We order food from Coronado room and it took over an hour to receive a call to our room from them to pick up our food. I had to inquire about our food and wait forever them to “find” it. On our morning of check out the smoke detector would beep every 30 seconds and it would say “low battery.” This started around 5am. It was very loud and annoy. We just decided to endure it for a bit while we got ready and packed our bags. Got ready and left. First time we visit Grand Canyon and everything was great except our hotel stay.

Maintenance issue. Toilet needs to be fixed. Kept having to wiggle flush lever. Toilet seat lid is so wore, that the wood is expose leaving it open for bacteria growth. Also, you need to replace those low low toilets. Other than above, check in was excellent. Breakfast was excellent!! And the over all experience was great!! Thanks, Dave

So initially we checked in and the first thing I noticed were the rooms were disgusting. There was hair on the bathroom floor and water spots on the mirrors. Upon further inspections there was stains on one of the comforters. We didn’t get turn down service the entire time we were there. They didn’t even dump the trash cans or refresh the coffee maker.

A lack of cleanliness can create a number of negative impacts on your stay, and you should not have to go through this while you are on vacation. Your room should be prepared and maintained with care and attention to detail, and I apologize that we failed you. We have been limiting our touch points by not offering service during your stay unless requested, and we understand this too has had an impact on your stay. Please consider giving us another chance. We believe we are better than this, and we would like to have another chance to show you.
