Beautifully preserved historic Inn. The innkeeper, Rebecca and her husband, were friendly and helpful with suggestions of things to see and do nearby. The homemade breakfast was absolutely delicious snd plentiful. Our room was nicely appointed with comfy bed and luxurious linens and towels.

This is a beautiful 18th century mansion where you feel like you’re staying in the museum yet comfortable enough to wanna stay forever. Dan and his wife greet you at the door. They are so nice. They make a breakfast in the morning that is to die for. This place comes highly recommended and I can’t wait to go back.

Dan and Heidi, the on-site managers went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Although we arrived early, they allowed us to check in and go to our room, which was large, bright and beautifully decorated. Our breakfasts were creative and very delicious. The common rooms on the ground floor are furnished in the period style and comfortable. The location is perfect for walking around the town. I highly recommend this B&B.

Beautiful historic B&B in Gettysburg. Walking distance to dining and shops. Staff was extremely helpful, and breakfast was a delight. Parking is offsite and B&B pays half of the daily total. No mini fridge in the rooms, only a common one on the first floor.

Innkeepers Heidi and Dan were very welcoming and friendly. Dan met us as we arrived and walked us into the inn. Heidi got us checked in and gave us a tour of the manor and showed us our room. We stayed in the Emily Rose which was a perfect size for just two of us for one night. The room was very clean and comfortable. The entire inn was very clean and beautifully decorated. Some of the other rooms were unoccupied which gave us a chance to see them and they were all very clean looking as well. I will say the room photos on the website do not do them justice. Heidi served a wonderful home made breakfast and freshly brewed coffee to get us started the next day. We would absolutely consider staying at The Swope Manor the next time we are in the area.
