With charming coastal shabby-chic décor, comfortable furnishings, and plenty of room for the whole crew—including your four-legged beach buddy—this is the perfect place to kick back, relax, and enjoy some serious seaside time.

This 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom getaway sleeps up to 8 guests with two king-size beds, a daybed with trundle, and a comfy queen-size sleeper sofa. After a sun-soaked day at the beach, kick back in the living room and catch your favorite shows or movies on the 55" Ultra 4K Smart TV with DVD player. You'll also have free secure WiFi and DishTV to keep everyone entertained.

Feeling hungry? The fully stocked kitchen has you covered! With a full-size pantry, large side-by-side refrigerator, and full-size dishwasher, there's plenty of room for snacks, drinks, and all the fixings for a family feast. Dinnerware is provided for both indoor and patio dining, because sometimes the best meals are the ones enjoyed with a little fresh coastal air. You'll also find all the kitchen essentials you need, including a coffeemaker, toaster, blender, can opener, corkscrew, assorted pots and pans, cooking utensils, and a stock pot. Whether you're whipping up pancakes before heading to the beach or enjoying a laid-back dinner after a day in the sun, you're ready to go!

Bring your beach gear, pack your flip-flops, and don't forget the pup! Dancing Mermaid is ready to welcome you for salty breezes, sandy toes, good food, and plenty of vacation memories. Towels and bed linens are provided through our partner linen service, making it even easier to settle in and start relaxing.

The property has wonderful amenities to discover and enjoy while staying at Dancing Mermaid. Three pools (one of which is heated), a hot tub, poolside grills, picnic tables, chaise loungers and poolside seating...as well as a volleyball area...all in a relaxing tropical setting. Additional outdoor activities include ping-pong and bean bag toss.

Due to the ongoing construction and in the interest of Safety, the Maravilla business office will be located in unit 121. This is where you will need to go to pay your parking.
A parking fee must be paid to Maravilla office upon arrival. The office does not accept cash. Parking Rules and prices are as follows:
1) Parking Rates will be set at $10.00 per car per day PLUS Sales tax
2) Trailers (Motorcycle) will be charged the same rate as cars and are limited to special event weekends such as Biker Rally Weekend. No other time are trailers of any sort allowed to be parked at Maravilla.
3) Per day rates will be capped after $70.00 per 30 day time period, and the per day rate will start over again on the 31st day.

Galveston is an amazing and fun community! There are so many different things to do and see...there truly is something for everyone. Within walking distance of Dancing Mermaid, you'll find go-carts and miniature golf, fishing and dining at Jimmy's on the Pier, batting cages, and our local movie theater. Moody Gardens Golf Course is located nearby, as is the entire Moody Gardens experience and our world-famous waterpark, Schlitterbahn. In town, enjoy one of many fabulous restaurants that offer everything from fine dining to international cuisine to some of the best burgers around. If shopping is your thing, visit The Strand and Postoffice where quaint shops and art galleries abound. You won't want to miss Mod Coffeehouse or Hey, Mikey's Ice Cream! The Grand 1894 Opera House offers some of the best entertainment and shows in Texas, featuring headliners from across the country, as well as an historic setting for live theatre. And, we love our festivals and special events here in Galveston! Mardi Gras, Lone Star Biker Rally, Dickens on the Strand, and the numerous triathlons, marathons and walk-a-thons are popular events throughout the year. Bird watching, kayaking, and fishing of all kinds round out the many outdoor activities enjoyed by both locals and visitors alike.

We welcome our guests and work diligently to make their experience at Dancing Mermaid memorable. However, we only rent to adults over the age of 25 and families. A photo copy of identification of main renter is required prior to arrival of stay. Maravilla is one of only a few "pet friendly" properties in Galveston. Home is dog friendly for up to 2 pets. $100.00 non-refundable fee for the 1st pet and $50 non-refundable fee for the 2nd pet. 25lb limit. Guest must contact our office prior to arrival to make arrangements for payment of pet fee and/or signature on a pet addendum. We do ask for a pet deposit and that all property rules regarding pets are strictly followed. Guests' "Bucket List" of suggested items to bring will be provided upon reservation confirmation.

All fees and services are subject to 15% tax.
