The way the host has the property listed you would think this is separate. This is part of someone's home and this area is shared by a restroom that can only be unlocked by the opposite side. This made me feel uncomfortable, as my wife had no way of stopping someone from the opposite side from entering the bathroom. That wasn't the only issue. A man that knew someone that lives in the home was standing outside staring at us and watch me unpack my vehicle. I asked him if he needed help and he ignored me and just kept staring at me. It was a bit unsettling, but I wasn't uncomfortable at that point. Once the guy started knocking on the door was when I told my wife it was time for us to go. The host lied and told me they didn't know who the person was. Spoke with Virbo support and later found out that the guy was someone with "issues" and was looking for someone who lived there. Highly unprofessional, and a complete invasion of our privacy. We only stayed 20 mins and left because we didn't know what was going on, and if this person, or others would come later. I had no choice but to rent a hotel room somewhere else at 1AM. After all of this, the host refused to give me my money back even though this transpired, and I didn't stay there. Virbo customer service ended up refunding me on the companies dime. Host is dishonest, doesn't understand what privacy is, and was very difficult to work with. I would not stay here. This was by far the worst experience I ever had. 0 stars.
