Overall, we would recommend Hollywood Beachside Boutique Suites. It is an older property that is pretty run down but it is clean and a good value for the price. Location to the beach was great! Close to all the restaurants and shops on the broadwalk. Staff was friendly. The beach chairs they provide are nice ones with lots of pockets to hold your stuff and they give you beach towels to use as well. The room was pretty basic. Bed was comfortable. The big problem is that you could hear EVERYTHING...the neighbors, people outside, the delivery trucks to the hotel next door, the traffic farther out. All the outdoor sounds seemed amplified inside the room. Luckily we were still able to sleep through it. If you are looking for a place to just crash after a day around Hollywood Beach, this place is great. If you want a luxury beach getaway, you will need to look elsewhere.

Needs major renovations. Very dark at night for a solo traveler. Door lock inadequate, unsafe. Bathrooms old, moldy, low water pressure. The beds for both bedroom and trundle in living room very uncomfortable, Bedding on trundle ding. Sparse furnishings. I would not recommend.

The location was perfect! Steps from the beach and the boardwalk. So many restaurants to choose from. The beach chairs and towels were a nice touch. The room was not new but very clean. We didn’t use the kitchenette—too many food choices close by. The only downside was that the living room had a twin bed and chair but no couch. For a family it would probably be nice to have the extra bed. We would have preferred a place to sit in the living room but a minor inconvenience. We would stay here again.

Upon arrival, the room itself appeared to be surface clean and smelled strongly of disinfectant. The room had seen better days. When we returned from dinner, we were greeted by two very large cockroaches. The area around the hotel didn't feel safe to me. There were a lot of young partiers, and a police presence didn't reassure me. After seeing the cockroaches, we packed up and moved to a different hotel. Had we stayed, the loud air conditioning and the partiers nextdoor probably would have kept us up all night anyway. Also, the property is not directly on the beach if that matters.

Good location with reasonable prices. Lots of restaurants and shops in walking distance. Reasonable parking fee. Friendly staff. It had clean rooms but a bit small bathroom and pool. Traffic noise at night in the building 3 facing Ocean Dr.

I have stayed here a few times and I love this place. It's very cozy and comfortable.. if your looking for the Ritz this is not your place but if your looking for a great place to stay close to everything, then this is tbe place you are looking for.
