The property was beautiful. The only downside was they are updating and a few things were closed that we were expexring. And the elevator closest to our room was broken tbe whole time. The room was super clean and view was amazing!

We checked out the same day. Let’s just leave it at that - the resort was so bad we had to go. The elevator near our room wasn’t working so we had to walk all the way to another elevator that looked like a service elevator. Everything was under construction. The workers looked miserable and were rude. Didn’t even have the manners to say Hi. The only pleasant person we encountered was our front desk check in, Patrick. Other than that, worst experience ever. Don’t waste your time or money, seriously.

Extremely Disappointing – This Is Not a 5-Star Hotel Our experience at Casa Marina was a huge letdown from start to finish. For a hotel that claims to be luxury, the service, amenities, and overall experience were shockingly low quality. Room service was especially bad. Food arrived in takeout containers, and once they even forgot to include silverware. We paid $160 for breakfast for two people and ate it out of boxes. On another morning, the only way to order was through their app—which didn’t work. When I called the front desk, they were rude and told me someone from food and beverage would call back. By the time they finally did, I had already missed breakfast because we had to leave for a boat tour. So we paid for breakfast we never got. Despite the Do Not Disturb sign on our door, housekeeping still knocked loudly trying to clean. Staff felt untrained, unprofessional, and just plain strange. At the pool, we saw an employee jump in the water with a guest. Another staff member told him he couldn’t swim there since he worked at the hotel. He responded that it was his wife. The staff member replied, “Well, we can get HR involved.” So yes, an employee was apparently caught swimming with a guest he was romantically involved with—right in front of everyone. Totally inappropriate. On top of that, someone was banging on our door at 1:30 in the morning. It was unsettling and made us feel unsafe. There’s no security presence, and the entire place felt chaotic and uncomfortable.

We reserved a king with ocean view. When we arrive to the property they informed us the rooms are not available due to remodeling. The hotel should have reached out prior to our arrival and informed us. I selected the room to celebrate my girlfriend birthday. The room we were placed was facing street side and a dumpster. They did issue a credit but after seeing room I should have requested additional credits. The room furniture was damaged. The shower would leak out to the floor. We had to place a towel from the inside of the shower door to minimize the amount of water that would leak out. For the price I was expecting more from the property. The grounds are very nice. Food was average but pricy.

We had a wonderful stay. Resort is quite nice. King studio ocean front was well worth the money. Wished the sargassum wasnt so bad but that's mother nature. Pools were excellent. Restaurant and food was exceptional. Definitely pricey but its key west. Gym was just so-so. Room keeping was minimal but good. Would definitely recommend.
