"Our overall experience was a mixed bag. We were able to check in a couple of hours early, which was a nice perk. The check-in process was easy and smooth, and our room was on the third floor with convenient elevator access. The lobby was updated, modern, and beautiful, and the location was convenient for attending events at the BOK Center. The room had been updated, but you could still tell the hotel was older, especially since it was difficult to find conveniently located power outlets. Unfortunately, cleanliness was an issue. We found numerous toenail clippings next to the bed, which made us question how thoroughly the rooms were being cleaned. On the positive side, the bed was comfortable, the fan worked well, and the blackout curtains were great for keeping the room dark in the morning. Noise was one of our biggest complaints. Around 3 a.m., we were awakened by a trash truck emptying dumpsters and scraping them across the cement. This continued for 20 minutes and sounded like it was happening directly outside our window. Our room overlooked another building and an alley. The windows were clearly not well insulated, allowing nearly every outside noise to come through Valet parking was another inconvenience. There was a wait to get a valet, and although they advertise there was public parking nearby, there’s nothing close to walk to the hotel. We were also charged $80 for being there less than 24 hours. We will choose another hotel next time we visit Tulsa."
