"The food at the restaurant was amazing. We had 2 breakfasts, 1 lunch and 2 dinners there we liked it so much! The private Onsen was wonderful to soak in but the public unisex Onsen was fabulous— 3 different temperatures, one area with massage jets and another with submerged lounge chairs. Unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate and the Ropeway shut down so we saw none of the sights."

"This is a fantastic hotel with so much history. The staff were so lovely and accommodating and the facilities with the onsen, the garden, the bar, the lounge- everything is so lovely. They even upgraded our room view which was very nice. The only odd thing was a particular waitress that were serving us in the Japanese restaurant and also in the breakfast hall the next day. She was insistent on us buying a sake pairing when we didn’t want to. For the breakfast she also insisted we buy the breakfast package even though we had already ordered something else. I also found it odd that she gave us the bill before we had finished eating and she seemed to forget about our breakfast for 40 minutes. Other than that, it was absolutely amazing. The rest of the staff were incredibly accommodating and professional. "

"Close to Gora station. We stayed in the Condo, so it was a separate building to go to the Onsen & lobby/lounge area. We enjoyed evening snack and sweets. We couldn't change the room temperature and asked for help from the hotel and came to find out the temperature couldn't be changed so the room was too warm to sleep comfortably. Over all, we enjoyed our stay."

"We couldn’t try the breakfast because it was fully booked. The hotel has self-service laundry facilities available. The staffs are helpful and polite."
