Great location to down town Golden in walking distance lots of shops just need a little bit of better tasting food in restaurant but staff was excellent

Breakfast is served at 9:00 AM . Coffee maker in room and carafe in lobby but no breakfast until 9?!!!!! Due to Covid many stores are open limited hrs. Hotel is basic. Pretty town.

I am sorry for your disappointment Myrella. We, too, are unfortunately still hindered by COVID and therefore do not have the clientele or the work force to be able to open our restaurant before 9am. This place was great to stay at with my wife I feel it is a place I will stay again with my kids too! Safe clean and very friendly. Private and laid back. Only negative is Wish we could have ate. And enjoyed The grill they have on hand but no one served us when we walked in and no one was around. so we left.

We loved being greeted at the front desk with freshly baked cookies! The excellent service went from there, for the entirety of our stay. We made a couple of modest requests (e.g. more coffee pods for our room, a pedestrian map, so we could learn more about the area, directions to a local tourist attraction, etc.) We were immediately taken care of, which made us feel so welcome.

Room & Restaurant

Room...spacious, lots of pillows & comfy beds. Room was along street on 3rd floor, a bit of street noise in morning, didn't bother us but may bother some. Restaurant...food was good, our service at breakfast was a bit slow. We opted to sit outside on a cool day so that may have impacted service. Portions were nice sized.

Great time in Golden

Pros: everything
Cons: nothing
Location: shopping, rafting, hiking, running, partying !!!!
was there to see Ed Sheeran at Red Rocks Amphitheatre (RRA)- this hotel was great , clean, nice view -friendly people, pillows were huge and plentiful - hotel restaurant was the best we had breakfast there, it did not disappoint -across the street Grappa- that was wonderful... golden was 15min from RRA--the whole trip was wonderful!! will definitely stay there again.

Great Mother-Daughter stay!

Pros: We enjoyed everything, staff, comfort and food.
Cons: We found this very convenient for walking in Golden and using the beautiful trail system by the river for exercising. I can not think of anything else
Location: We did lots of walking, but mostly our trip lead us into the Denver area during the day. I would absolutely NOT eat at the GRAPPA across the street.
We loved our mother daughter stay at The Golden Hotel. We were there for three nights and did day trips to the Denver area in search of the perfect brides dress, which we found. The hotel staff was delightful, restaurant food delicious and the accessibility of just walking or running everyday was convenient and beautiful. I highly recommend this hotel and will stay there again!
