The Brown Palace has really gone downhill since the last time we were there a few years ago. It was rough and rundown. The bathroom was missing a cabinet door so the plumbing was exposed. There were little to no bathroom amenities.

Beautiful historic property with many dining and bar options, both within the hotel and surrounding areas. The parking options were limited. The valet overnight was $59, so we found another parking garage nearby.

The Brown Palace is a unique historical landmark hotel in downtown Denver. The central atrium with stained glass ceiling is quite memorable. My room was clean, but was in need of a refresh - the carpet was quite worn, you have to literally go up a step to get in to the bathroom, the shower was incredibly anemic (no water pressure), and the toilet was lodged in a space so small it was reminiscent of being on a very small aircraft. Close top everything downtown, but in need of a little TLC.
