Food was good but not the rest!

Pros: Just the pay restaurant and the bar!
Cons: Everything else!
Location: Everything!
When we checked in for two nights the staff was not very nice, borderline rude and acted like we were keeping them form something. We went to the Elevator and one was out of order and the other three were unclean as in very dirty floor, buttons were covered in something. When we got to our room it was freezing, uncleansed and trash was over filling. Called front desk and they did send a room attendant to tidy up. They also sent a maintenance tech to fix the heat problem. As we left to start our day our key cards quit working. this problem plagued us the whole time we were there. Even after we replaced the cards several times. The only bright spot was the restaurant. They were top notch and the food was amazing! They knew how to treat customers! When we left we went to get our car from the valet and he informed us it would be 5 mins. this was o.k. due to the other people waiting. however, 35 mins later we still hadn't seen our car ant the valet very rudely told us to be patient it will show up when it shows up! About that time our car comes down and the driver informed the valet that the keys were lost! He handed me the keys and never apologized! I will never stay at this hotel again!! I am A gold AAA card member and you better believe AAA will hear about this hotel!!!!!

Bad service

Cons: If you book a room have it ready!!!
check in was at 4:00. we did not get in our 2 rooms till 5:55. the manager on duty Adam, was not very accomadating. I Paid for a room from 4:00 to check-out and did not receive this. With 4 small children in tow I needed the rooms for naps before going to Christmas parade. So, instead of kids enjoying themselves they were all tired and crabby. WOULD NOT STAY HERE AGAIN EVER!!!!!

Great base to explore Denver

Pros: Spacious rooms, hotel location.
Cons: Steam room and spa Botanica, which is available at the locations in some other cities.
Location: Downtown Denver with the convention center and the theater district nearby.
We stayed at this beautiful hotel in downtown Denver right before Christmas. Our suite had two rooms, two flat screen TVs ( did not watch it), plenty of room for our family. Breakfast was included in the price and was excellent! The omelettes were made to order. In the evenings there was another event, a reception, with complimentary beverages with finger foods and sweets. Kids enjoyed the heated salt-water pool at the same floor.

Good stay, close to convention center

Pros: Convenient to the downtown attractions we were there to see.
Cons: Slippery tub
Overall, a very good stay. Nice, big suite at a very good rate. Room was in good shape (see photos). Large bathroom. King bed isolated by a door. In-room safe. Big living/work area with room to actually work (if that’s what you have to do). Good breakfast in a nice setting. Only beefs: tub was slippery when in the shower; parking was very expensive, although not unexpected. Right across the street from the convention center. I would recommend this hotel.

Christmas 2015 in Denver

Pros: Central location in downtown; comfortable hotel facilities
Cons: The queque for breakfast during holidays can be improved to allow for separate traffic circulation for the self-service area & "to-order" section.
Location: Variety of shops and dining options
Location is very good - easy walk to downtown shoppiing

Hotel staff makes the stay special.

We spent a few days in Denver to celebrate our 25th anniversary. The front desk staff (Mark) was a great help in recommending outings as well as recognizing our anniversary with a bottle of wine & chocolate covered strawberries. Great touch! Thanks Embassy Suites!

Colorado Crossroads 2015

Pros: Bed was super comfortable and the breakfast was out of this world.
Cons: If you could make wifi complimentary, it would go far in the good will department.
Location: My work was directly across the street at the Colorado Convention Center so the Downtown location couldn't have been more convenient. Love Bubba Gump
My stay at Embassy Suites Downtown was nearly perfect. All aspects of the hotel worked like clockwork. Everything from booking to check out was easy and efficient.

Great Hotel in center of the action!

Great hotel in walking distance of everything in downtown Denver. Room was spacious and clean. Wide variety of selections for the complimentary breakfast. Only minor concern was shower could have used a tad bit more water pressure, but wasn't that big of an issue as it worked and the rest of the hotel made up for it. Check in was quick and easy. Was there for a weekend trip for a Broncos game and with the nice weather at end of September was able to walk to stadium.

Nice experience

Overall I thought this hotel was great. Things I liked: Location - right in the middle of downtown, walking distance to museums, 16th St. Mall, Coors Field, etc. And the awesome bike rental system (B-cycle) in Denver, with a bike station right near the hotel, allowed us to get around town easily. Free happy hour: snacks weren't that great, but they did offer fresh veggies. Not sure what wine they were pouring, but Great Divide Denver Pale Ale was on tap and pretty decent. Comfortable sitting area, with several TVs for watching games. Nice place to have a couple of drinks before heading out. Room: our room was clean and comfortable. And we liked having a suite with fridge, sink, and sitting room etc. Free breakfast: way better than the freebies you get from other competitors. Fresh fruit which actually tasted fresh, made to order omelets, and great potatoes were the highlights. Staff: very friendly, low key, and helpful Just a couple of negatives: Maid service: I only mention because our room did not get cleaned (we only stayed two nights). To be fair, we hung the do not disturb sign part of the morning, and then again when we were back for an hour or two in the afternoon. And we didn't let the front desk know. I'm sure it wouldn't have been taken care of if we had asked. Breakfast: both good and bad, this can't be! Overall it was great. The only negatives were the long lines at times, and a few below average items (coffee, french toast and pancakes). Plenty of options though. And they did open a second station with hot food later in the morning.
