The location was great and the park was wonderful. Laura was timely with responses. It was also nice that the bathrooms and kitchen were recently updated.However, the property was less than clean. I understand that dog hair can be unruly, but it was as if no one had cleaned the house from the prior guests. There was dog hair everywhere - even in our sheets on our beds. It was extremely evident that a very poor cleaning job was done. I even saw a huge pile of dust and dog hair under a couch that was visible from another couch. The uncleanliness wasn't just the dog hair. The patio furniture was covered in dirt and grime that made it difficult to enjoy the nice backyard. There were smear marks of some sort on the walls throughout the house. A fan in one of the bedrooms hadn't been cleaned.Then there was the general lack of upkeep of the house. There were missing towel racks in the bathroom and giant holes from prior curtain rods. The kitchen sink drain hadn't been cleaned in a long while either. The listing mentioned new pots and pans for the kitchen and when we went to use them, we found them to be old and the most of Teflon was scratched and peeling off and unsuitable for use.And to top everything off, general hosting niceties/101s weren't followed - Kleenex boxes had 1 tissue in them and extra toilet paper wasn't in the bathrooms.It was very difficult to relax and enjoy our vacation when we had to focus on cleaning up the house first. Extremely disappointed.

Very nice property. Wonderful outdoor space. Loved the covered porch on back. Lots of dishes in the kitchen very clean. My daughter had accidentally locked the front door knob instead of using the keypad and they were super helpful about helping us get in at 9:00 in the evening

Spacious, great backyard, and fun for the kids! Would stay again.

We were a group of 8 (5 adults and 3 kids ages 7-11) and 2 pups that visited Denver for 2 nights for a concert at Red Rocks Amphitheater (which is actually 40 minutes in light traffic from this property, not 20 mins like advertised). This was an excellent space for the group, especially considering we had our dogs with us. Owners have great taste, super comfy and lots of nice details.Key highlights - lots of space to hangout, a great fenced in backyard, comfy beds and full space to ourselves. My kids loved the game room in the basement, which included ping pong, arcade games, and they even found some lego which was a bonus! The laundry machines were excellent and we enjoyed the covered patio out back. It's a split level home that looks like they added a fourth bedroom on the lower level. Minor downsides - one of the drawers in the kitchen was broken; the upstairs bedrooms were quite warm, and the thermostat was very finicky to adjust. We also had to be cautious because the gate to the backyard could have a sneaky pup get out if they wanted. Last, they have adorable fruit trees on the property, but the matured fruit had not been picked up off the ground and while apples are fine for dogs, apple seeds are NOT safe, so we had to toss some 100 partially rotted apples over the fence so the dogs wouldn't eat them. Oh, and please don't advertise Red Rocks to be 20 minutes away, when at the very minimum it's 30. More typically 40-45 mins in Denver traffic. Otherwise 10/10.

Great location and super comfortable home - plenty of room for family of 5 adults plus our dog. Close to everything and everybody we wanted to visit - great dog walking spots, yard, kitchen, and family gathering spots indoors - from living areas to game/TV rooms. Everything about the owners of this place was fabulous! VRBO is frustrating because I was unable to contact directly to discuss my special circumstances and potential extended stay. VRBO does not allow the sharing of email and phone #’s until contracted. I had an insurance situation paying for my VRBO and needed direct communication. Very frustrating. As for the home, great location and nice home. Had some plumbing issues and the owners responded quickly. They may want to check their home for structural issues if not done already. Sloping, creaking floor that seemed concerning but everything else was fabulous. Wonderful hosts!
