We really like homes2 overall. This visit was a little lacking. I had called ahead and asked if pool was open but when we got there it was locked up. The sitting area's fire pit wasn't on.

The hotel experience was overall quite pleasant, as the accommodations were clean and comfortable, creating a welcoming atmosphere. However, one significant drawback was the lack of sound insulation. The noise from the guests in the room above us was quite disruptive, with their conversations and television blaring audible enough to interfere with our own relaxation. Additionally, the cries of a baby from a nearby room echoed through the walls, making it difficult to find peace and quiet. While the hotel's amenities and cleanliness were commendable, addressing the soundproofing would greatly enhance the guest experience and ensure a more restful stay.

Great for long weekend in Dallas

We chose this property for a long weekend in Dallas. We wanted something just outside of downtown, easy access to major roads, and free breakfast. We like Home2 Suites as the rooms are bigger and there's more storage available. This hotel is right next to Parkland Hospital, and likely gets a lot of traffic from folks who have relatives in the hospital for care. Like most post-pandemic hotels, the cleaning schedule is every other day. In our case, the room wasn't cleaned once during our four night stay. In their defense, we didn't ask that the room be cleaned...just assumed it would be. Really no big deal, other than no coffee in the room (but the coffee downstairs is much better anyway). We would happily stay at this property again
