"Myself, my daughter, and my Granddaughter and a family friend flew in from California and were greeted by the staff, very pleasant staff, and I believe the manager as well. They explained to me that we had just missed the worst storm ever in Chicago! However, their pleasantness was so welcoming. The manager even told me to grab some breakfast before I went up to my room because he knew that we were exhausted from that plane ride. I did not know what to expect at this hotel because I usually reserve with Marriott hotels, but Hilton really outdid themselves. Even the ladies that were serving, their breakfast were so kind. And it looked as if it came naturally, although they had a full hotel dealing with concerts, basketball tournaments, and baseball tournaments so kudos to the breakfast staff as well! I will most certainly search for Hilton hotels for my next trip. And because I booked through Hotels.com, I don’t think I earned any points for this visit so this is my honest review. And I almost forgot I love that. There was the option to hook up my own device, so I did bring my Chromecast and that way I was able to watch all of the shows that I wanted to watch and that I had subscribed to at home. Thank you, thank you thank you"

"The revolving front door and two of the elevators weren’t operable. The ice machine on our floor was not working either. This made coming and going more challenging than necessary. The room was excellent. It was clean, spacious and very comfortable. The morning breakfast was inconsistent. The first morning, part of the buffet was difficult to access because the foldable walls were extended early. There was also a scramble when they started to shut down the breakfast a few minutes early. The food itself was good and plentiful. The manager’s reception was nice. The bartenders were friendly and efficient. The snacks were limited but didn’t run out. The overall experience was good. These few access points and amenities being addressed would have made it great. A last point, I wish the hotel would have been more forthcoming about the parking charge. I don’t mind paying for parking but was surprised to be chador a self parking surface lot."
