This hotel is located within walking distance to the city and beaches. This is the best, small family feel hotel on the island. I have been back 7 times and will continue to do so. The vibe, very friendly,staff, snorkeling off the pier, the delicious food and on and on. It’s perfect!

Friendly, efficient staff, go above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. Site more appropriate for divers than guests just on vacation. No coffee pot in rooms, no washcloths, WiFi only available in the lobby; all easy things to work around. Spectacular views from beach area, and balconies. Beautiful property.

Everything is wonderful , Such a friendly group of young staff. The meals and the cocktails are beautiful. The pool is crystal clear. The meals are tasty and the beach is clean. The hotel could use a paint job but who cares?

The employees were fine the problem is the facility pictures are not the way we found the resort. The place is a snorkel and scuba divers resort which we are not... they all seemed to be enjoying their stay. To get to the restaurant you have to cross the street... my wife and I were looking for a beach where you can walk into the water and you can't because of the rocks. We arrived in time for lunch and the food was not good and not even closely the same as described or portrayed in photos.

This was our first visit to Cozumel Hotel & Resort. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The food is so-so. They had a beach BarBQ one day by the ocean and that was very good. The beach is clean but small. Easy access to the ocean for snorkeling. Overall we enjoyed our vacation.

The room smelled. The fixtures were old and rusty in the bathroom. The bathtub was filthy. I checked out the next day and flew back home. I wasn’t offered another room or upgrade.

The location was great, it was close enough to town that we could walk. It was also close to the light house and car ferry. I especially loved the natuarl pool. I was able to snorkel & even ventured out past the enclosed pool and saw so much marine life.

2nd year In a row where the internet only works in the lobby and by the dive shop. The ad on the hotel does not disclose this which is false advertising. I am in sars ad need to wrk after diving. Food was horrible. Using styrofoam cups, no butter for toast and finally no bananas which is important for their main customers- divers. I have been staying there for 11 years and I now understand why they were dropped by Wyndham. I might start looking for a differhotel. I also emailed ahead of time for a 3rd level room as I don’t feel safe on the first floor and when I checked in was assigned a first level room. I guess they don’t want my business and I am going to talk to the group at moving to another hotel. It was my 30th trip since 1990. Very disappointed and I am fine if you pass my comments to the hotel as if they don’t make it right to me, I will go online and share my experience all over the internet. Food was recycled for multiple meals. I understand the need to not waste food, but serving 3 meals with the base protein covered with sauce. The final straw was in the past they would leave me a welcome back care package for their loyal customers. Not anymore. If I don’t get restitution, I will begin my campaign to warn people of the real way they treat their frequent and loyal customer base. I was in room 1021. Sorry for venting! Harry

Overall, this property was decent and worked for a short stay, but it may appeal to a very specific type of traveler. The rooms are quite dated and fairly bare in terms of décor and amenities, though the hammock in the room was a fun and unique touch. The overall vibe felt geared primarily toward divers and an older crowd looking for a quiet, low-key experience. The food was okay but not a highlight of the trip. There also weren’t many amenities or entertainment options compared to what you might expect from most all-inclusive resorts. The pool was not heated and stayed mostly empty, and the hot tub was consistently crowded with 8+ adults, making it hard to use. One of the best features was the easy water access for snorkeling — when the water is calm, it’s beautiful and very convenient. For our girls’ trip with two teenagers, we felt about 40 years too young for the overall atmosphere. It’s likely a better fit for travelers seeking a quiet, dive-focused getaway rather than a lively or activity-filled vacation.
