I generally don't give bad reviews. I will give the location the benefit of the doubt. They were clearly undergoing a massive renovation. When I arrived, the parking lot had numerous stained mattresses lined up near a dumpster, and broken furniture piled up outside. The parking lot was okay, fairly typical. After check-in I walked down the hall to my room. The hallway was lined with garbage bags full of cut up carpet bits, paint scrapings, and other random construction detritus and I mean lined with probably 20 bags. Not to mention empty boxes and old lamps and stacks of lampshades. When I got to my room, it had clearly been in the beginning stages of refurbishment. The only thing left in the room was a dilapidated chair in the corner, suspiciously angled towards the bed. The bed itself, a lamp, a nightstand, a TV, and a a bureau inside the bureau was a fridge that did not work. Work. There were multiple multicolored stains all over the floor and some sort of white crumbly stuff near the bed. As I had been traveling for a while, I covered the bedspread and put my own pillowcases on which is my habit to do at any hotel, and tried to sleep for the night.
