Arrived just after 3; room not ready. Waited 30 minutes, then they asked if we really needed the handicapped room - NO, we did not request a handicapped room. So the wait was unwarranted. Then one of the elevators broke on the first floor - sensing this, the other elevator could not be called to the first floor. It would only open when people were getting off the elevator. There was no signage warning people on the upper floors. Finally, the refrig was set so cold that everything froze. Had to throw out leftovers and soda.

I called ahead of time to let them know I was going to be coming around 9:00 pm. That wasn’t a problem since late night was 12:00 am. I got there closer to 9:30 pm and there was plenty of parking. The lady who helped me was very kind and helpful. She asked if the fourth floor was fine and I said yes. The lobby floor needed vacuumed but maybe they didn’t get to there nightly tasks. I got to my room and the door was not shut completely which raised concern. I walked in and looked around for anyone who might be there but no one was there. I pushed the door shut and noticed the door was not plum which was the reason for not shutting properly. The bolt lock was loose and there were scrapes on the door where it may have hit the bolt lock. I managed to get the door shut and locked the door lock. When I turned around the Roman shade was not properly hanging. One of the cords must have been broken so the one side was up and the other side was down. And lastly in the bathroom I noticed a shelving unit on the bathroom floor under the sink. It looked like it needed to be hung up or something. The blowdryer had two settings — low and off. I did call the front desk and the lady along with the maintenance man came right away. I told them that is what I found and I didn’t want to be charged for these items that were already in place when I got there. She assured me I would not get charged and I’m sure I didn’t get charged for the incidentals. One of the less favorable stays.

Left w/in an hour of checking in. Stains in room. Staff claimed they didn’t see them. I did. I did not feel safe. Glad I did not end up staying. This hotel has a horrible reputation of cars being broken into. Have asked to speak w/ manager multiple times, still haven’t been able to after calling multiple times. Reached out to head Hilton company; they said this hotel claimed everything was “taken care of”. It wasn’t. My checkout date was changed, notes in the hotel’s computer system were changed…&..I never stayed here, therefore, nothing should have been changed. I have gone back and forth with the third party booker and this hotel on refunding at least 2 out of 3 nights, since I didn’t even stay there one night. Non-cooperative.
