Coffee pit had mold in it. Carpet was dirty. Hallway needed vacuumed. Some mold around bathtub. Window sill not attached. Staff was challenged to perform any task.

The Room was located on the first floor which was a plus but things such as the water not going down the drain and not being able to turn on the ice maker in the freezer was some miss key points especially if i need to take a shower to attend a funeral and dirty water is standing at feet.

I stay at this hotel often, but there has been an issue that grows wearisome, namely lack of on-site maintenance. I will notice something brokenbin my room, only to be told that it won't be fixed during my stay because the maintenance person won't be in that week. This last stay, the bathroom bent fan was not working, the sink had no hot water, the nightstand phone did not have a dial tone, the nightstand reading lamp bulb was not functioning, the toilet seat was loose.

Love the room...was given a suite with full kitchen. Very clean and comfortable. Check-in clerk was very professional. Renovations were being done on outside so no "Candlewood" sign but would definitely stay again.
