I booked a room overnight from January 3rd 2026 to January 4th 2026 at Comfort suites South Park Colonial Heights, Va. The room and bathroom was very clean and comfortable. Shower had great pressure and the hot water was perfect! The staff was very friendly, courteous and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Those Breakfast potatoes were seaoned to perfection! I would definitely rebook at Comfort Suites South Park on my next trip to Richmond, Virginia.

We made our reservation via Expedia. When we arrived at the hotel the room we reserved was not available. The gentleman at the counter upgraded us to a “suite” for the same price. I’m not sure what their definition of suite is.The bath room was pretty large. The shower is a walk-in type without a door or curtain. It was a bit chilly. It took the hot water about four minutes to get hot. There was nowhere to hang the towels after using them. The double doors to the bathroom didn’t close properly and the sofa was stained and dirty. There were also smuggies on the walls. On the up side the gentleman at the counter was very helpful at check in.

Breakfast was very good. The bed was extremely comfortable and my room was clean friendly service at the front desk. Just don’t fall for the river view rooms your view will be a parking lot and possibly a muddy river through the trees.

Staff was helpful and friendly. The room was clean but needed some care. The shower had mold on the caulking so I didn't feel comfortable taking a shower. Also the toilet seat wasn't stable. Breakfast was good.

first room they gave us was not clean.. Had turned down sheets , cups on the floor ... Second one was clean .. person at the desk at check in did not have much of a personality at all .. Location is near everything and quick to rt 95 . Breakfast was std.
