"Place was clean, but worn. Breakfast was good, server was excellent, but we had to pay for it, when so many other places provide a free breakfast. Owner acted shocked when I told him having the office closed without a way to call in an emergency was not acceptable."

"What a lovely homey B&B. The house is an historic one and the furnishings and decor are in keeping with that. The room we had was big and had 3 lovely bright windows with a window seat. Our hosts, Lynn and George were amazing. Very helpful with ideas of places to go and things to do, not just around Harbour Grace but all over the Avalon. We followed their suggestions and were never disappointed. And the breakfasts were fantastic. More than enough and so well prepared. We did play with the idea of bringing Lynn home with us! In fact we had originally booked in for 2 nights but ended up extending our stay for an additional 3. Would definitely recommend this beautiful spot!"
