The staff are as friendly as could be! Helpful, and versed in local amenities. The floors and wall are very thin! I could hear a neighbour breaking wind! When the kids wake up in adjacent rooms, everyone on the floor knows it. Well worth what we paid. No nonsense, no creeps and no bugs!

There was melted ice in the ice bucket when we arrived. Rug had not been vacuumed from previous guests. Fire alarm in room started to beep from low battery, so it was removed. Room smelled musty. We stayed for two days and there was no freshen up service. You can’t say you get what you paid for because it was a almost 200.00/nt. with taxes

Room was just ok. Nothing special. Toilet did not work on arrival. Was fixed quickly. TV service was terrible. They us Ruku. Limited selection. Mostly rerun stations. Hotel situated right on the corner or a very busy street. Constant traffic noise. However, overall was ok

The staff was very friendly but the property could use some upgrades. Booked this due to downtown St. John’s being booked solid. Rooms need upgrading. Convenient for an overnight stay but not a longer trip.

What a disappointment. As friendly as the person was at the front desk , it did not make up for the rest. We had the “ocean view” suite. First of all, shame on Expedia for allowing them to claim its ocean view. The only window was in the bathroom and you would need to be right up against the window to see a slight glimpse of the water. The room itself had NO window, it was like a bunker. The bed was lumpy and too soft. The sheets were among the cheapest quality I’ve ever seen. The pillow was extremely lumpy and unusable. The room.. oh wait they called it a suite, had no TV service. The listing did not disclose it was on the second floor and with no elevator. Last disappointment was the rate we paid … over $385 CN for one night. Even if this rate was half, I do not recommend staying here.
