Check-in was at 3:00 pm—the room wasn’t ready until after 4:30 pm. The only “compensation” we got was an upgrade from a king to two doubles. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. The experience wasn’t all that great and would have loved a refund to go elsewhere if that was possible.

Loud. Loud. Loud. Not sure what could’ve been done, because pets are allowed, but there was a dog that barked for about 6 hrs straight (family left it in a room while they went out). I know staff was informed by multiple people. they called the family, leaving messages asking them to come back. To no avail, at least for 6ish hrs. I didn’t expect the hotel to call animal control even tho the owners were lame. The dog wasn’t in danger seemed like there was at least 2 parties/get together on the first floor the 1st night we stayed. Idk, it was probably one of the lesser experiences we’ve had staying anywhere over the past couple of years.

Everything was good with the room, but there were people loitering in the parking lot adjacent to the window of my room, and I heard them until midnight. Slamming car doors, standing around, this went on for two hours. I would pick a different room next time not facing the parking lot. Not sure if they were guests or not so didn’t know if I should call the front desk to complain. Not sure if they could’ve done anything about it.

There was someone next to us in the hotel that had a huge dog was not a service dog and it just barked all night. Every time I came out of our room the key would somehow demagnetize. I was in Chicago for a funeral and this was super annoying to where I broke down. This was definitely I needed stress!
