I understood that the hotel was being remodeled. The room we stayed in was worn; that’s ok. There was no excuse for the condition of the room—pretzels on the floor in the main room and dirt and hair on the floor in the bathroom. We will not stay here again.

Property is okay for the price we paid. However this is NOT a Days Inn anymore. Expedia should update it to the Norwood Inn. It's an older hotel, so just expect that level of accommodation. The free breakfast was nonexistent "due to COVID". At least there was free coffee.

Lying on the banks of the Mississippi River is charming La Crosse, Wisconsin. The city combines the vibrant nightlife of a college town with an old-style downtown area, making it the ideal place for a vacation that's both relaxing and fun. La Crosse flights land at La Crosse Regional Airport (LSE), which is located on French Island, just seven miles north of downtown, so you'll have easy access to the city's rustic charms.
Transportation From LSE
There are plenty of cheap hotels close to the airport, especially on Rose Street, which runs along the riverfront and into downtown La Crosse. All flights to La Crosse arrive at the main terminal, and there are several ways to get to your hotel from there.
