Enjoy the outdoors in the spacious 1/2 acre backyard oasis with grill, outdoor seating, fire pit, and lush banana trees. Enjoy this relaxing getaway with a touch of coastal charm!

Guests have access to the entire home with the exception of the garage which is used for owner's storage.

The home is managed locally by Southern Charmed Hospitality Group so someone is always available if any issues arise during your stay.

The home is located in a quiet James Island neighborhood in a convenient location, less than 10 minutes from Folly Beach and 15 minutes from Downtown Charleston. It has a neighborhood boat ramp and is within walking distance of the Fort Lamar Heritage Preserve park, an important historical battle site during the Civil War. The closest supermarket (Harris Teeter) is only a five minute drive away, a Wal-Mart Supercenter is an eight minute drive, and there are numerous restaurants or take out eateries nearby as well.

It is best to have your own vehicle to explore as public transportation is not convenient in the area.

If you plan to leave your vehicle parked, Uber/Lyft are widely available throughout Charleston.

In the unlikely event of a MANDATORY EVACUATION ORDER FOR CHARLESTON COUNTY during your stay, rest assured that both the Owner/Host and the Property Management Company WILL REFUND 100% OF YOUR PAYMENTS for the dates of evacuation. Once refunded, neither party will have further liability regarding your Reservation.

Please note that ONLY MANDATORY EVACUATIONS WILL QUALIFY FOR REFUNDS. No other travel disruptions due to weather, whether in South Carolina or other states, are eligible. For protection, consider travel insurance, especially in high-risk months like hurricane season. Airbnb's insurance or other options are recommended.

INSECTS

As Charleston is situated in a warm, coastal climate it is possible to see insects inside or outside of the home at times. These include palmetto bugs, sand gnats, mosquitoes, ants, etc. Those who live in the Lowcountry just accept this as part of living here but it may be unsettling for those from other areas. The home is treated regularly for pest control but this will not entirely eliminate insects from getting inside at times. Please do your best to not keep doors and windows open and not leave food or drinks out in the home as this will attract insects. FINDING AN INSECT IS NOT CAUSE FOR A REFUND

DAMAGE DEPOSIT

A $500 damage deposit is automatically billed upon arrival. It will be refunded to your card after checkout if there are no claims made for damages.
