ROW NYC
"This hotel is in the midst of a remodel so I understand some of the polish the hotel strives for is yet to come. Overall we enjoyed our stay here. The hotel rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, and the AC was strong. There were a few things that made our stay less than perfect - first, the elevator situation is crazy. Depending on what time you return to the hotel, you will be met with a line of people 30-50 people long, all waiting to get up the elevators. We were on the 9th floor and decided to walk the stairs and ere unable to find a continuous stairwell that wasn’t locked at floor 2 or 3 or end in a dead end. Thankfully, a security guard helped us by taking us up in the maintenance elevator but the whole situation was crazy. The other thing that was a bit bothersome was the lack of urgency with any kind of request. I called down to ask for two pillows and an hour later, calls back because I had not heard anything. A half hour after the second call, someone dropped off a single pillow for me and said that was all that was available. I was disappointed to sit around waiting up for someone to drop off only half of what I needed. Overall the staff was kind and the location cannot be beat. I would stay here again for sure and I’m sure as the renovations come to an end, the hotel will continue to improve daily."
