"My wife and I stayed at the resort for 7 nights. Everything was clean, the room was spacious, the service was excellent, and the food was awesome. We had a minor issue with the hot water, but the hotel addressed it quickly. Unlike other great resorts nearby, Secrets has huts on the beach, which I personally prefer over umbrellas. The only downside—something the resort cannot control—was the sargassum. We did not expect it in December, but it was present. It wasn’t significant, but it did make the ocean less appealing for swimming. However, if you’re a pool person, the pools are fantastic! If we can find a time of year with minimal sargassum, we will definitely return,"

"The resort was wonderful. My favorite part was how clean everything was. Housekeeping not only cleaned well but every day they would come by later in the evening and ask if we needed any towels, etc. The food was also good. 5 different restaurants where you can dine but be aware you have to make reservations for two of them. The staff were great too! Amazing service and friendliness! Overall good place if you are looking for a chill and relaxing place to spend your vacation. As the property isn’t very big and the beach is very small too. "

"Rebranded from Sports illustrated Resort to TAN resort. Definitely worth getting the VIP. Our 2 bedroom villa was outstanding. The staff are fabulous. Pools and food were great. Service was top notch. "
