"One of the best hotel stays I have experienced, especially in an urban downtown area. Although an older hotel, it was very updated with excellent rooms, nice amenities, and good common areas. You do have to pay for overnight parking, but the hotel had a couple of floors reserved just for guests, which you registered through the Drury Inn app, not the city parking app. Many of the rooms, including ours, directly faced another building, so there really was not much of a view out the window. There may be a few select rooms with a limited view, but not the hotel if looking for stunning vista. Staff was verify friendly from the front desk, to the cooks, to cleaning help. Work out area was larger than expected with machines, free weights, bench, yoga mat, towels, and water. Pool and hot tube was a bit bigger than expected and seem to be busy from the guests. Really liked the reception from 4-8pm for complimentary popcorn and fountain drinks, along with complementary buffet breakfast and supper. They even had complimentary alcoholic beverages during supper. Both the supper and drinks were a big hit and thought this elevated the experience to hangout in the hotel. They had a modern bar/grill for other hours for those that wanted this service. Close to riverwalk, downtown, Milwaukee Public Market, and lakefront, all walkable."
