Quite like the hotel overall - descibe it as TIRED BOUTIQUE. There were shortcomings with the room. Morning tidy sloppy and variable; had to go steal teabags from dining roon twice. Described as a delux double; no it wasn't. TV looked ancient with indifferent options. Estimated 20 years old system. Just one armchair; but we are a couple. Had a debate with reception before anything was done and then the second chair was scruffy. We REARRANGED the space to make it work. THAT IS LOUSY SERVICE. Shower towels ... following day change twice, otherwise existing towels left hanging. Make decision, do they change towels, then do it propely. If towels are expected to do two days (or more) then provide a drying rail!!. And if they're going to do chocolate, do it properly. One miserable little bar between us is what we got twice across four nights.
OVERALL RATING - Notting Hill nees to pull up its socks. If was writing a newspaper review (and I am a journalist) management would not like to read it
