"This was a lovely well maintained pub with accommodation above in a quiet village . Our room was clean but extremely hot. There were no hangers or wardrobe which was a little disappointing. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was really good. Sadly the dinner was very disappointing, they could not cook salmon or risotto and it was over priced, I guess it was a different chef. There was however a very nice restaurant in the village The Dairy, I would definitely eat there again."

"The hotel was OK, but for the price I felt the room was dated compared to other budget hotels. No air con in our room, light switch controlled ALL lights in the room, so no bedside reading light which is really annoying when there's two or more of you sharing a room. TV channel options seemed to be hit and miss. Other than that breakfast was good and staff were very helpful and pleasant. In terms of location it was ideal, but if I was less fussy about location there are probably better value hotels in Maidstone. Oh and you have to pay for parking, not a massive charge, but just include it in the bill, otherwise it just feels like an unnecessary extra cost that I don't think is well advertised when booking"
