We had to do an early check in (45 mins early) and it cost us an extra $25.00 which wasnt a huge deal but we were not exp3cting it as we had called ahead of time of what reasons we had to. The place is mostly clean and comfortable however we needed extra towels and they had none available.

Where to start!? First it is NOTHING like the photos, at least our room. Shower was moldy. No hand towels! When we asked we got more washcloths. What!? Carpet was heavily stained, coming away from the wall, torn. AC unit was noisy. Smelled weird. The door bolt wouldn’t latch and the door itself was shaved on the bottom, you could see into the room from the outside.

The staff was fantastic. We had several interactions and everyone was helpful and friendly. Our fridge wasn't working. Maintenance was there in a few minutes and ended up bringing us a new one that worked great. The view of the lake from the room was beautiful and you could walk by the lake right behind the building. The continental breakfast was very good with scrambled eggs and a meat selection both days, plus the basics. The location was perfect in conjunction with hot spots in Salem and Gloucester. The room itself needs a bit of updating. Moldy caulking in the shower. The water backs up in the tub while showering then gets slippy. There used to be appliques on the tub floor, but it looks like they were half peeled away but no one ever finished the job or replaced the non-skid stickers. The floor/carpet is disgusting. The toilet has a very small, round seat which means you only have so much room. THEN, they have a seat lid that sticks out too far when up so you are forced to sit forward while trying to use the toilet. The bathroom door was barn door slider that we had to put on the track to use. We had to be careful so it wouldn't come off the track again. It was not a smooth motion and ended up being loud. We plan on coming back to the area but I think we'll look for a different place.
