"Windy Knoll was perfect for our father/sons trip. The house was immaculate. It was nestled in a little hollow in a quiet neighborhood. It had all the comforts of home. We had planned to explore Shenandoah National Park on our motorcycles. We were able to tackle Skyline Drive, but Mother Nature had other ideas for the Blue Ridge Parkway. The house was in a perfect location to access both. Since our plans didn’t work out as expected the house was a great place to be away from home. We even had some 4 legged visitors in the front yard. Thank you Wendy and Mike for giving us a comfortable place to spend a few days. If we ever get the opportunity to get to the Blue Ridge Parkway again, we’ll be looking at your place first!"
