"1st time to the area for a wedding nearby which made its location perfect! Plenty of comfortable seating on the porches for relaxing & bird watching. Are stay was short, but we had everything we needed. The coffee/ tea counter was perfect. The veiw from the dining room table, beautiful. The bed was comfy, the place clean & peaceful, making it a breeze to prepare for a family wedding. I would not hesitate to stay at Sweet Afton again, & take some time to explore this beautiful area."

"Overall we recommend this cottage for its location near points of interest to us: Blue Ridge Tunnel Trail, Chiles Orchard, Blue Mountain Brewery, and our favorite, King Family Vineyard/Roseland Polo. The cottage was clean, comfortable, well stocked with all the necessities, and pet friendly. Tom and Jackie are easy to communicate with; very responsive. They’ve done a great job updating an over 100 year old home. Our dog, Stella enjoyed the house and our adventures. Sadly, the weather kept the polo club from playing but we loved the scenery, people, and the wine. Hoping to come back next polo season. "

"Your search for the perfect rental home is at an end. Don't hesitate renting A View with a Room. This property was absolutely awesome. You couldn't ask for more. The host took into account everything you could possibly need during a stay for one night to over a week. The beds and living room furniture was comfortable. The property was clean, comfortable, spacious, and well supplied. The host provided a huge amount of supplies - Kitchen cleaning supplies, paper towels, Kleenex in almost every room, toilet paper, and on and on. I would stay here again and would recommend it to everyone I know visiting the area."
