"There was no telephone in the room to get a hold of the front desk or anybody else We reserved a king room and we got a room with two twin beds after the guy told me it was a queen room. "I had a pleasant stay overall. The room was lovely and spacious, with a comfortable lounge area to relax in, the staff were polite, and the hotel is in a very nice location. "The staff were as polite as can be but the property and room we were given were horrendous. I’d almost claim False advertising compared to what we got and what was shown. The Falstaff Hotel
"The rooms are in historic buildings adjacent to the main hotel so they can be stuffy as expected but there was a fan provided which helped. Thankfully temperatures were only as high as the mid 20s when we stayed, but there is no AC so bear that in mind if that's something you're used to having. The main building itself is beautiful to look at, the staff were friendly and the breakfast was excellent . They also have happy hour for residents between 6 and 7 with free cheese! That was a lovely touch; the cocktails weren't bad at all either. It's close to Cafe de Soleil which I recommend you go to if you do stay here, I think you'll get a free dessert there if you book a table there through the hotel. Overall, we had a great stay - the location was amazing and the room was comfortable."
