Grand Hotel Bonanno
"Lovely clean room, comfy bed, hot shower. Air con good but had a problem with it turning itself off if window wasn’t slammed shut. Only coffee maker in room, no kettle so couldn’t boil water for our own tea bags. Breakfast ok but not much choice of breads, cheese, fruit or juices. Ate in restaurant one night. Food was good but service not so. We ordered dessert but waited so long (even though restaurant was nearly empty) that ended up cancelling order. Waiter did not seem impressed, saying “but it’s ready now”. Staff seemed to be more focussed on guests staying half board. Reception staff friendly and helpful."
