"Overall a 4-star experience. The room is smaller than the photos suggest, and ours had a broken steamer, faulty AC, and no luggage rack something most hotels at this level provide. They did fix the AC the same day we complained, after one rough night of sleep. Check-in was a letdown. Staff seemed overwhelmed and didn’t explain any amenities, so we had to piece together spa hours, gym access, and other details by asking other staff throughout our stay. The wellness area is nice, but the breakfast selection was small. If I booked again, I’d skip the wellness package and put that money toward including breakfast it’s the better value. The wait staff and housekeeping team saved the stay by patiently explaining how things worked. Without them, this would be closer to 3.5 stars. For a hotel charging near Four Seasons prices in Salamanca, it needs more polish to earn a true 5-star rating."

"We had to take a cab to and from the hotel but the cabs are regulated so it was 33 euros each way. Our breakfast was included and maid service was excellent. Everyone was polite and helpful. We were able to walk to the Royal Palace which was very close and the local restaurants were wonderful. Plenty of shopping close by too!"

"This is a great hotel in a great location. Staff was so helpful on any request. The room was modern and clean. Bed was very comfortable. Located in walking distance of most sites and cl oh se to the Metro. I would highly recommend the Regina!!! We loved it! Oh I almost forgot about the breakfast - unbelievably great!"

"The rooms were compact but the bathroom had a nice sized bathroom. The bed was ok but memory foam as were the pillows. That’s not my taste but there were regular pillows available in the cupboard. The location was excellent. The pool is an unheated plunge pool. The pictures make it much bigger. The did have a lifeguard on duty full time. "
