Sugar Bay Barbados - All Inclusive
"The Sugar Bay Resort was absolutely beautiful! We would stay here again. The view from our oceanfront room was nice. The hotel room and amenities were great. There is an elevator. There were plenty of chairs on the beach, with umbrellas. Most of the time chairs were available at the pool. There is a swim up bar at the pool! The food provided had a good variety. We ate at Sizzle Steakhouse and thought the steak was exceptional. There were several water activities to choose from including snorkeling, kayaking and paddle boarding. They had beach a volleyball net. The watersports fellas were very nice. They also played soccer with the kids. There were nightly activities, such as singing, steel drum music, DJ, Limbo, and Fire Twirling. There were a trio of ladies that sang one night that were absolutely fabulous. The Hotel front desk and maid service were all very friendly and helpful. Downsides: the resort is on the side of the island that has potential for seaweed. We didn't know this prior to booking. Carlisle Bay is much prettier and calmer for swimming. We might look into this option if we go back to Barbados. A few of the beverage and food serving staff were not the most personable people. They seemed tired of vacationers. Overall thought, we would definitely recommend this Resort."
