I paid for a canal view, but unfortunately the property was under construction and we had scaffolding and sheets blocking our view. The hotel was also very noisy, as we could hear people banging around upstairs all night. We complained and the night staff did go up to talk to the people a few times but it didn’t do any good. We were tired when we left.

Clean small room. Old Amsterdam traditional building quite noisy rooms and extremely steep stairs because of the vintage construction. But very convenient location. I would say it was a good price/value ratio considering the location a few hundred meters from central station.

Outstanding hotel

Stopped in room 22 and the room and view was outstanding the only negative as it the only room on ground floor level to the bar u get to hear cleaners around 6am coming and going outside our door but id definitely stop again might ask for a room higher or bring my ear plugs :)
