Bed'njoy clean cozy and central with astonishing view

My house is centrally located in a early 19th century building, completed renovated and styled useful to it's purpose.
To host you and your friends or family up to 4 persons, divided over 2 bedrooms with simple kitchenette a bathroom and separated toilet. The entrance and hallway are shared with me. The facilities are for private use to you and your friends!
During your stay are the basic necessities included such as coffee tea towels etc.

My Place is the perfect base for a stay over in Amsterdam, a 5-minute walk from Amsterdam central station. 5 minute walk to Nieuwmarkt Lastage where you can find many restaurants and the famous red light district. about a 10 minute walk Dam square or Rembrandtplein. from 15 minutes walk you will reach Museumplein and Leidseplein. So you and friends will be secured to reach it all in walkin or bike distance, and ofcourse you have the luxury to walk 5 min to central and take a tram, metro or ferry might take a train to visit the rest of The Netherlands in no time that's up to you!

I'm a friendly house owner and know what's going on and what to do in the city.
I'll be willing to help you get your information sorted or set up a plan where to go if needed.
Just make sure you feel good and relax the stay at my place will be great.
Come as guests, leave as friends is a statement which 99% of my previous guests will confirm.

Great landing spot for Amsterdam
This was the perfect place to lay our heads for our time in Amsterdam. Very close to many different attractions and plenty of restaurants and cafes. Roy was so accommodating and welcoming. We only stayed two days, but it made it easy to see the city in our short time here. Would recommend to anyone. The apartment is two bedrooms, a shower, a toilet and a kitchenette. Plus the owner has a beautiful dog that he will introduce you to :) Thanks again Roy! You are a great asset to any traveler. Cheers!

Great place for a couple or 2 to enjoy Amsterdam.
This property is in the perfect location if you are wanting to be in walking distance to the hussle and bussle of Amsterdam! But it is designed for people to get out and enjoy, not hang at the room. 2 bedrooms and a bathroom is what you have, no television. This is exactly what we came to Amsterdam for, so it was perfect for my husband and I. The host is very accommodating. Answering any questions we had, offering places to go, help if we got lost, and even helped with ordering a taxi for us on our last day.

Roy was an excellent host who takes care of his visitors. Excellent and responsive communicator. Good view from the bedroom windows. Comfortable beds with soft mattresses. Adequate kitchen facilities with convection microwave oven although a longer kitchen knife would be more useful. Umbrellas provided came in handy. A flight of stairs to climb to get to the accommodation. Overall experience was excellent.

Just what we were looking for
If you’re looking for an efficient launch pad right in the middle of the city, then this is the place for you! Roy is friendly and promptly responsive, like a city guide. He went out of his way to let us check in early. The location is wonderful, with a view of a major canal, a short walk to trains, downtown, and interesting neighborhoods. It’s close to the action but not right in it, so it was not noisy for sleeping. It has all the essentials you would need, and allows you to see a ton of the city with very little in your way. Would stay here again!

Property has great view of water and fairly close to everthing. Amsterdam is a walking & bicycling city, but Metro is easy too...no tickets, just tap card and go.

Not up to VRBO Standards
I have stayed in MANY VRBO apartments in Europe and United States, and this one was the worst I have ever seen. In fact we only stayed one night and had to leave for a hotel in Amsterdam which was costly - $700.00. The place was not really clean and seemed to be thrown together with not much care, from a larger room. The toilet and shower were in different rooms. There was NO kitchen of any sort and nowhere to sit together - chair in the bedrooms. The extra toilet paper was stored in a red, iron, Dutch Oven which is used to cook on a stove or in the oven. The windows were really high and we needed a long stick (provided) to close a blind but it did not stay down. There was a long stairway to get to the property which was covered in carpet that was dirty. We were shown the stair light at the bottom but did not see a light switch at the top. I had to make my way down in absolute darkness. Very dangerous for me. Later, after searching for a stair light at the top of the stairs, I found it across the landing not anywhere near the stairs. Further, the three keys needed to enter did not really work well. We not only had trouble getting IN but more trouble getting OUT. Again, very dangerous. I did not see any fire or CO2 monitors. Finally, there was a door at the end of the hallway in our property and we were told that it was locked and that someone else lived on the other side. We felt very insecure and unsafe. I can send photos as may be necessary. Again, this property is NOT up to VRBO standard and I would like a refund for two days when we had to leave for our own security. I am 74, travel a lot and use a walker. I was not satisfied in the least!!
