"The Hampton Inn Alexandria hotel has a great location -- walking distance to shops, restaurants, the waterfront, and the metro train station. The free trolley stops right in front of the hotel and has numerous stops all along King Street. The hotel was always clean and well maintained, and their free breakfast offered several nice options. Our room was large, comfortable, and quiet (although rather short on drawer space). Our stay, unfortunately, had to be cut short due to an injury I sustained in DC. Upon returning to the Hampton Inn that day, the hotel staff was very kind and considerate, from making me ice packs to lending me a crutch to having the housekeeping staff prioritize cleaning our room while we waited downstairs. The staff was also generous enough to refund some of our stay. I highly recommend this hotel and wouldn't hesitate to book it again in the future. "

"This is a lovely hotel and the bedding is great. The sleep I had with some of the best in a long time because of the bedding. The only thing I did not like about the hotel was there’s absolutely no one to help you with your luggage and I am a disabled person."
