Days Hotel by Wyndham University Ave SE
"This is not a hotel - it is a motel/inn. Our room set up is odd. The door opens right to the beds and the bathroom is at the end of the room. This setup allows us to hear everything outside the door (we are on the ground floor so lots of foot traffic). The toilet needs to be flushed twice in order ..."

"The hotel itself was great, and the staff was wonderful. However, the parking lot appeared to have a large number of homeless individuals staying there, which made the experience less comfortable. "I booked a room at Sheraton Minneapolis Downtown Convention Center a month before my stay. I arrived at the Hotel to check in and the front desk staff got an Oh Crap look on their faces. Hampton Inn & Suites Minneapolis / Downtown
"In the first room they gave us, the bed foundation was broken. When you sat on the bed, it sank. The next day they moved us to another room, where the beds were ok. They were not broken, but the mattresses were not very supportive. Biggest problem is the hotel location. It is in downtown Minneapolis, surrounded by concert halls. On Friday and Saturday night there was music blaring until 2:30am. If you come to party that may not be an issue, but if you want to rest, you might want a different hotel. Otherwise it's a decent hotel, it's clean looks nice. The standard American breakfast is served from 6am to 10am daily, which is better than many hotels in the state. There is free coffee/tea in the lobby all day. The convenience store is outrageous, $8 for a bottle of water!"
