Radisson Blu Resort & Spa, Malta Golden Sands
"We stayed at the Radisson Blu Resort & Spa, Golden Sands in Malta and had a fantastic time. The location is absolutely amazing. Golden Bay is a beautiful spot, and the hotel makes the most of it with great views, easy access to the beach and plenty of space around the pool areas. It is a big hotel, but it never felt too cramped or overcrowded, especially at breakfast, which was really well organised. The breakfast was excellent, with a brilliant buffet and plenty of choice. They also offer buffet lunch and dinner, and we ate at the buffet dinner one evening, which was fantastic. Some of the food the chefs were putting out was genuinely like a work of art, and the quality was much better than you would normally expect from a buffet. The staff were also brilliant. Everyone was friendly, helpful and couldn’t do enough for you, which made the stay feel really relaxed and easy. One of the best features is the lift down to the private beach, which is fantastic. There are also activities like jet skiing available right there, although the jet skis were a little pricey. That said, it is great having everything so easily available on site. Overall, it was a fantastic hotel for a family holiday. It is a great place to be by the beach, around the pools, and spending time with the kids. Brilliant location, great food, excellent staff and a really enjoyable stay. We would definitely recommend it."
