The property is a bit worn. The window did not lock. The elevator buttons had to be pushed twice—once for floor, and again to open when it stopped—maintenance or repairs needed on the button panels/wiring. Location is OK, there are a slew of mediocre bars 1/2 block away.

The bathroom was very dirty. The whole hotel smelled like weed. They make you put a 50 dollar deposit down even though you paid for a room.I did not see any bed bugs, the tv had good channels and the bed was comfortable.

The staff is always nice at check in and I go often and se familiar faces and it’s my first choice coming to Waterloo. No it’s not the ritz but it’s bug free and clean and the staff is nice to me when I visit and I visit often and if there’s not a room available and I have to go elsewhere the staff is helpful finding something else but it’s my first choice when I visit Waterloo
