Beautiful location! Very spacious. Only complaint is the very dated washroom and shower set up but that could be overlooked with all the other features.

The location was amazing but the room was too small for two people and tge bed was a little bit noisy ,I felt a smell of a kind of detergent that irritated me alot, totally with thus price, I'll never choose this hotel.

Great harbourside location just a 5 min drive across the bridge will get you to downtown Victoria. Lovely to be able to walk along the harbour. Brewpub is a casual atmosphere for dining and a drink with a view. Our room was comfortable with a separate toilet room from the tub/shower room, both with their own sinks which was convenient. The heritage guest house has character and is showing its age but our room was clean. No in-room fridge and some light bulbs needed replacing (front building door and one of our bathroom light fixtures). No complementary breakfast with the room but there are so many fabulous restaurants to choose from in the area. We did enjoy the complementary flight of beers and truffles at the brewpub. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would return.

Summer Cottage Sort of Experience

Spinnakers is first and foremost a pub making its own beer and whiskey. That focus tends to dominate the establishment. And yet the rooms are quite well maintained. Some repairs are in order. But the comfort and housekeeping service was very good. A little more attention to the outdoor space would help. A wasp nest denied our access to the outdoor dinning patio off the suite.
