Right next to Beacon Hill Park, the Royal BC Museum, and very close to downtown and great restaurants. Extremely pleasant staff, nice rooms and lobby and clean (I was a hotel maid once myself, so I notice). Excellent prices for the quality of the rooms. I’ve recommended it to several friends already.

What a gem! Super cute little hotel so close to the harbour area, and I have to say the value for the price was outstanding. Room was super clean and had very thoughtful amenities. Bed was very comfortable we slept great. Only feedback would be for the vanity in the bathroom to have one of those mirrors with light all around it would be even better for applying makeup, otherwise perfect place. We will stay again when we are in town.

Good stay for the price and location.

We had to change to another room as the toilet would not flush and the sink would not drain. They were very quick to give us another room. There was a renovation done since the last time we visited and honestly it felt kind of cramped. I had to duck to get past the wall-mounted tv and the bathroom is very squishy. But, perfect location. Close to everything and quiet and clean.

Amenities and great location

We were very impressed with the suite. It has a separate bedroom and living room, as well as a large, well-equipped kitchen with a full-size range and fridge. This was more than we needed but it would be great for a longer stay. The beds were comfortable but very high so they are difficult to get into if you are shorter or older. We asked for a stool and the staff found one for us. The location is perfect. It is a block from the Empress Hotel, the Royal BC museum and Imax Theatre plus across the street from Beacons Hill Park. Within walking distance from stores and restaurants.

The only aspect that wasn't good had to do with trying to get our little one to sleep. The lights outside were super bright, there was a particular walkway/doorway light that was within a couple feet of the window; the blinds weren't effective at stopping the light from coming through. We didn't bring enough black out curtains to get the multiple windows. Overall, if we didn't have our child with us, we'd consider staying there again. We liked the location (our white noise machine did a decent job blocking out the car/traffic from the street and adjacent parking lot).
