We needed to catch an early ferry from Horseshoe Bay, so staying in this clean and quiet hotel worked well for us. Nice to have so many dining options nearby, and a great view of the Vancouver waterfront from the top of the stairs for the ‘Q’ sign. Nice area to walk around, too.

Beautiful waterfront area with full view of Vancouver skyline. Several walkable dinning options close by. Easy walking to several local craft beer locations. One or two blocks east on Esplanade and 1st street. Easy drive to Seymour demonstration forest, Mount Seymour and Deep Cove. Just as easy to get to Lynn headwaters trail system. Ok drive to get to Capillano suspension bridge, Cleveland dam and Grouse Mountain. Once on upper levels highway, access to Cypress bowl mountain is also easy.

Room was located beside elevator bay and hotel had a steel fire door connecting to hallway. Night and day all we heard was metal door slamming shut. Air conditioner only worked intermittently so room was very hot overnight.

Staff were super friendly and very helpful with questions. Our room was beautiful and had a great view of the harbour. My one complaint would be the tv that we had in our room. I came with my young daughter and we were looking forward to watching a movie after our dinner out. Unfortunately our room had no option to order movies. The front desk shared that some of the rooms did have smart tvs and some didn’t. It’s unfortunate after spending $425 for a night that we did not.

The lobby and market indoor area was very inviting and scenic. Staff at check in was very warm, helpful. We arrived late at night so was difficult to find the location. The parking dispensers both didn't work so we had to go online to pay but that wasn't successful either and we incurred extra costs-parking ticket. The room was nice, showing signs of needing an upgrade/refresh.
