Regular travellers will not stay here again.

This hotel is not at the standard we have come to expect from Marriott. The staff are careless, the rooms are short on amenities like toiletries and towels, the pullout and rollaway beds have springs popping out of them, everything is pretentiously overpriced, no coffee in the mornings except terrible $5 “Starbucks”. Super disappointing stay.

Here’s a polished version of your review, keeping it concise while highlighting all your key points: ⸻ We stay at hotels across Canada and the U.S., and Marriott is usually our go-to—but this location was a huge disappointment. They’re pricing themselves like a downtown luxury hotel while offering minimal amenities. The toiletries were subpar, missing basics like shower caps, quality bar soap, and makeup remover wipes. Our suite had only three towels, and the pullout and rollaway beds were unbearably uncomfortable, with springs poking through. No complimentary coffee—just an overpriced ($5+) so-called Starbucks coffee that wasn’t even good. No food service until 5 PM, and the on-site “Starbucks” didn’t have working drink machines, only selling basic bottled drinks and baked goods at a 50–75% markup. Despite not being in a high-demand area, they charge for parking. Worse, we booked two nights in the same suite under separate reservations, emailed in advance to confirm they’d combine them, and were reassured at check-in—but our keys still stopped working after one night. Staff denied any prior discussion, made us check in again, and tried to charge a second deposit. When we refused, they revoked access to incidentals. Front desk service was painfully slow, likely because they were constantly dealing with upset guests. This hotel tries to act high-end but lacks the service, food, and extras to justify its premium pricing. Would not stay here again.

Overpriced

Stayed for Little NHL Hotel was too expensive Hotel charged for parking. Room service for towels was good. The towels were even warm, which was nice because they grandkids just got out of indoor pool.

For the price of the room it would be nice if complimentary bottled water per person booked to stay in the room are provided just like most hotels do . This is the only hotel I have booked so far that has not provided complimentary bottled water.
