Even though we ran into a few issues which caused us to change rooms twice, I enjoyed everything at this hotel but I really wish they’d clean the carpets in the entire building. The carpet was stained in the hallways and in the rooms and the couches could use some deep cleaning as well. Otherwise this place would receive the 5 stars for sure.

We stayed 4 nights. The hotel is close, 10 - 15 min walking distance, to main Shinjuku area where there are many restaurants. The Higashi subway station is 3 min walk. It’s a nice, new, clean hotel. The hotel room is small and tight quarters though. There is no real housekeeping, they only will change towels and empty garbage, if requested. If you want sheets changed there is a fee. There is an ice machine in lobby, but they don’t provide or have any complimentary water bottles. The all in one washer/dryer in room was helpful. The breakfast is decent, with a mix of western and local options. They will hold your luggage if you arrive early or after checkout.

The location was excellent!! We were able to walk anywhere within a matter of minutes, however it was very quiet. We couldn’t hear anything outside our room. A spacious room for the two of us, and we loved being able to prepare basic meals and wash our clothes. The only criticism would be the pillows which were quite firm. No other complaints!

Loved our stay here! 2-in-1 Washer/Dryer was really convenient! The room was very spacious and clean! Right near so many restaurants, bars, shopping, and public transportation. The only complaint was there wasn't specific parking, but luckily there's a parking lot 1 street behind the hotel. The staff was wonderful and accommodating. Definitely recommend and would stay again!

We thoroughly enjoyed Tokyu Stay Shinjuku Eastside - the rooms were spacious, clean and air con was great! So cold in the room which was lovely on a hot summer day. Konbini and McDs close by. Not ideal that it’s next to Kabuchiko but we just avoided going that way.

I’m glad I stayed in the Shinjuku area, significantly less chaotic than Shibuya. I stayed here with my sister and it felt very safe and easy to navigate. You can take the bus to Shibuya. The subway is right there and if you like shopping — the shopping in Shinjuku is really good. You can find a lot of the stores you see in Shibuya/Ginza at Shinjuku. The staff at the hotel were really nice and sweet. The only downside is that the breakfast could have been better but it’s convenient to eat a full meal before heading out! Would stay here again! Book the room with the laundry included!! It was nice to have clean clothes and no laundry upon check out!

4 nights in Shinjuku

The hotel was clean and efficient and provided all basic services. A washer dryer is provided in all rooms though is a little difficult to use if one can’t read Japanese and was a model made only in Japan so no on line English manuals but with the help of Google lens and a bit on common sense managed to work it out! Breakfast finished admissions punctually at 9:30 but carries on till 10 and provides a good variety of Japanese and western style foods on offer. The overall feel is clean contemporary and well considered with focused on sustainability. This is not a luxury hotel but is very comfortable and stylish and good value.

Simple and basic accomodation at affordable rates, nothing really above and beyond the required facilities. Nice and clean facilities, very friendly and helpful staff.
